Since it is pomegranate week for the Fall Blogging Challenge, I knew I needed to come up with some pretty amazing pomegranate recipes.
While I was brainstorming one day, I had the sudden urge for a smoothie. I hadn’t used my Vitamix to make a smoothie in awhile, so I was more than ready to break it out again.
I also had this protein powder I had been wanting to use. It all just fell into place.
Start off by taking your protein powder, a frozen banana, a cup of ice, and a cup of almond coconut milk.
You can really use any liquid you want. I just absolutely adore this milk.
Blend with 1/4 cup fresh pomegranate seeds.
